The Poland Board of Education is holding a community meeting on March 12, 2018, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Poland Seminary High School. The purpose of the community meeting is to go over the Auditor of State’s Office six month performance audit of the Poland Local School District. The state released its audit of the district on February 27, 2018.
The Board of Education and Poland Local Schools Superintendent, David Janofa, will spend the first 30 minutes of the meeting going over the audit. The audit will be on a big screen in the auditorium the night of the meeting. Community members are encouraged to go over the performance audit, and can bring a printed copy of the audit to the meeting. A copy of the audit can be found on the State Auditor’s website: https://ohioauditor.gov/auditsearch/detail.aspx?ReportID=136169.
The meeting will also have a question and answer session about the performance audit. Community members will have two minutes for public comment. A moderator will be present for the question and answer session. Prior to the community meeting about the performance audit, the Board of Education will hold a work session at high school.
