Dr. Hoffmaster is a 1985 graduate of Struthers High School. She attended Youngstown State University to obtain her BS in elementary and special education. She attended the University of Akron to obtain a Masters in Educational Administration and a Doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Policy and Administrative Studies.
She has 30 years of experience as an educator. Prior to coming to Poland, she spent seven years teaching in regular and special education classrooms and 23 years serving in a variety of administrative roles at the building and central office levels. Additionally, she served as a regional data lead for the Department of Education. Most recently, she served as a school improvement and special education consultant through the Department of Education's State Support Team structure. Also, she was appointed by the former State Superintendent of Ohio Paolo DeMaria to the Academic Distress Commission. Her greatest passion is working collaboratively with staff and administrators to support instructional systems designed for student achievement.
Dr. Hoffmaster resides in Poland with her husband Steve, Miki dog "Buddy" and has two daughters, Kayla and Isabella Hoffmaster. She looks forward to continuing the process of establishing genuine, professional relationships in the years ahead and working with all stakeholders to serve in the best interest of our students
