Free & Reduced Price Meals Application

Poland Local Schools is announcing its 2022-2023 year policy for free and reduced-price meals.

The National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program ensures all students have access to meals during school, specifically students who cannot pay the full meal price. Federal Income Eligibility guidelines determine students’ eligibility for the program. The official policy and guidelines have been published on the Poland Local Schools website.

Applications for the program are available on the school website to be printed. Additional copies are available at the main office in each school. Completed applications should be returned to the student’s school main office.

An optional application for Ohio’s Healthy Start & Healthy Families program is included in the application. Families with children eligible for school meals may be eligible for low-cost health care coverage through Medicaid and/or Ohio’s Healthy Start & Healthy Families programs. These programs include coverage for doctor visits, immunizations, physicals, prescriptions, dental, vision, mental health, substance abuse and more. Information can also be found on the web at https://medicaid.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/medicaid/

Families can apply for free and reduced-price meals anytime throughout the school year. For more information, visit the Food Services Department Website or contact Tammi Pearch, Food Services Director: 330-757-7000 ext 5
