Winter Sports Parent Meeting

The Poland High School Athletic Department has announced a Winter Sports Parent Meeting for Wednesday, October 23rd at 6:00 PM in the High School Auditorium. The meeting is mandatory for parents whose son or daughter will be participating in a High School Winter Sport. All parents should plan on attending as we will be discussing policies and procedures for the upcoming winter season. The athletes do not need to attend this meeting. 

Poland at Girard Football Tickets

The Poland Seminary High School Athletic Office will be selling general admission adult and student tickets to the Friday Night Football Game  Poland at Girard from 12:30-4:30 starting Monday, Sept. 30th. Tickets to the Girard Game can also be purchased at Trolios T-Shirts from 10:00-5:00.

Financial Aid Workshop

 

This workshop is geared to parents of graduating seniors and is intended to answer the many questions concerning the financial aid process.  Parents of juniors are also welcome to attend to get an idea of what is forthcoming.

Poland vs. South Range Football (Homecoming)

The Poland Seminary High School Athletic Office will be selling general admission adult and student tickets to the Friday Night Football Game South Range at Poland from 12:30-4:30. Tickets to the South Range Game can also be purchased at Trolios T-Shirts from 10:00-5:00. For more information on Football Season tickets, please call the Athletic Office at 330-757-7021.

District Takes Step for Improving Finances

The Poland Board of Education took action at its Board meeting on Monday, August 26, 2019, to refund/refinance the district’s current outstanding debt.  The debt will be consolidated into one loan instead of three separate loans. The interest rate on the new lease is lower than the current three loans. 

Boardman at Poland Football

On Tuesday, September 3rd the Poland Seminary High School Athletic Office will be selling general admission tickets to the Friday Night Football Game Boardman at Poland from 12:30-4:30.Tickets to the Boardman Game can also be purchased at Trolios T-Shirts from 10:00-5:00. For more information on Football Season tickets, please call the Athletic Office at 330-757-7021.

1999 State Championship Football Reunion

The Poland All Sports Booster Club will be sponsoring a special tailgate on Friday, September 6th prior to the Boardman Home Football Game.  The 1999 State Championship Football Team, Coaches and Cheerleaders are invited to attend a tailgate on Friday September 6th to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Undefeated 1999 State Championship.

 

The tailgate begins at 5:00 and will be located in the grassy area next to the Poland Football locker room. We will have plenty of food and soda/water for all! 

 

The team will be announced on the field prior to the football game at 6:35 PM that evening against Boardman.

 

*In the event of rain, we will move the tailgate to the high school cafeteria.

Stadium Closure

The Poland High School Athletic Department is closing the High School Stadium from August 22-24. The turf will be re-conditioned over this time period and also some areas on the track will be repaired. We appreciate your cooperation on these upcoming dates. The stadium will reopen on Monday, August 26th.

Please come out and Support these two teams this Thursday in Summit County. From Firestone Stadium to Hudson High School it is a 30 min car ride on rt. 8 North.

Fall Sports Parent Meeting

The Poland High School Athletic Department has announced a Falls Sports Parent Meeting for Monday, June 3rd at 6:00 PM in the High School Auditorium. The meeting is mandatory for parents whose son or daughter will be participating in a Middle School Sport or High School Fall Sport. All parents should plan on attending as we will be discussing policies and procedures for the upcoming fall season. The
athletes do not need to attend this meeting.

Stadium Closed!

The Poland Seminary High School Athletic Department will be closing Poland Stadium all day on Friday, April 26th in preparation for the 26th Annual Poland Track and Field Invitational being held on Saturday, April 27th and also the 106th Mahoning County Middle School Track and Field Meet being held on Monday, April 29th . The stadium will reopen on Tuesday, April 30th . Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Athletic Signing

POLAND, OHIO – The Poland Seminary High School Athletic Department will be having five senior
athletes signing their letters of intent on Wednesday, April 3 rd .

 Senior Stephan Bannon will be continuing his football career at John Carroll University.
 Senior MJ Farber will be continuing his football career at John Carroll University.
 Senior Lauren Sienkiewicz will be continuing her softball career at John Carroll University.
 Senior Cameron Hubbell will be continuing his football career at Westminster College.
 Senior JP Allsopp will be continuing his soccer career at Thiel College.

On Wednesday, April 3rd at 9:00 am in the Poland Seminary High School Field House Lobby these student
athletes will be signing their letters of intent. Please join us in the High School Field House Lobby.
