Long Term Substitute Teacher – Intervention Specialist

Location: Poland Middle School

Qualifications: 

• Work under the supervision of the Director of Special Education & Building Principal in providing services to children with disabilities and other at risk students.
• Ability to perform work in accordance with job description.
• Licensure: Holds Intervention Specialist licensure Mild/Moderate Special Education certification with training in inclusion and co-teaching. 
• Successful BCI & FBI background checks.
• Experience writing IEPs/ETRs and collecting and analyzing student data.
• Ability to develop and implement daily lesson plans consistent with students' Individual Education Plans.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and communication skills.
• Be an effective communicator and motivator.
• Possess strong leadership skills.

Child Specific Educational Aide

2023-2024 School Year 

Compensation: Hourly

Education/Degree: High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Goal: Sincere desire, motivation and ability to work with students with disabilities as a personal aide assisting in the classroom as well as/or with  physical disabilities.

Special Education Classroom Aide

Multiple Positions (McKinley Elementary, Poland Middle School, Poland High School)

Education/Degree: High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Goal: The Classroom Educational Aide will function as the assistant to the special education and general education teacher in order to facilitate the implementation of the IEP small groups and individual settings. The classroom Educational Aide will assist the teacher in meeting program goals.
