Dear Poland Community,
On behalf of the Poland Board of Education, the amazing staff, and the incredible students, I would like to express our most sincere appreciation for your support of the Poland Local Schools. The approval of our school levy renewals on Tuesday by such a large margin was a clear message that there is overwhelming pride and enormous support by the Poland community so steeped in tradition. We are so very grateful.
Your support of these levies reminds us of your commitment to education and student learning. You sent a powerful message to the district teachers and staff that you are strong supporters of the important work they do each day.
The passage of both of these renewals will allow us to continue to execute our “Forging the Bulldog Future—facility plan” so we can continue to make our facilities and our property pristine both in the Village and the Township. The passage will allow us to continue to operate at a level meeting the high expectations of the Poland Community.
It is our commitment to you that we continue to raise the bar academically, increase innovation, implement more strategies for efficiency, continue to bring people together, and communicate better.
Thank you for allowing us to continue to tell #ThePolandStory.
With Much Appreciation,
Craig D. Hockenberry
Superintendent, Poland Local Schools
