Superintendent Update - 12/17/2021
- District
A district all-call was sent by Superintendent Hockenberry Thursday, December 16 at 10:00 pm.
"Good evening. This is Craig Hockenberry, the Superintendent of Poland Schools. I apologize for the late all-call this evening. We are aware of the TikTok challenges circulating across the nation. We’ve actually been monitoring it all week. Although we have no credible threats against any of our schools, we have taken several safety precautions for tomorrow, including adding several additional police in all of our schools located inside and outside and will be with us all day. We take all threats of school violence extremely seriously, and we work closely with law enforcement and all of our administration. Tomorrow will be no different. Let's all work together to make sure that we continue to make Poland Schools the safest schools in the entire nation. Let’s work together to work with our children and all of our staff to make sure that we’re all safe. I'm confident. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody tomorrow and having a great day."
