Wednesday, May 25 - Middle School Band/Choir Concerts

Dear Parents and Students,

The end of the year is approaching and our 5th and 6th grade spring concert is
right around the corner! Our spring concert will be on Wednesday, May 25th
in the Poland Seminary High School Auditorium. In order to avoid crowding,
the 5th grade concert will begin at 6:00, and the 6th grade concert will begin at
7:30. Students should report to the PSHS Band Room (use the double doors at
the northwest end of the building) 30 minutes before their concert’s start time.
Each concert will feature both the choir and band for that grade level. Please be
on time so that the ensembles can warm up and get where they need to be in
time to perform.

Appropriate concert dress for Middle School students should be professional.
Ladies: dress or skirt with top or dress pants with top and dress shoes. No jeans
or tennis shoes. Gentlemen: dress pants and a dress shirt with a tie or dress
pants and a polo shirt and dress shoes. No jeans or tennis shoes.
Because Band and Choir are performance-based classes, attendance at this
concert is mandatory. Your child is expected to perform as a part of his or her
grade.

The students have been working very hard to prepare for this concert. We hope
to see you all on May 25th. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or
