Financial Aid Workshop
Thursday, October 13 at 7 p.m.
PSHS Auditorium
POLAND, Ohio - Poland Seminary High School will be hosting a financial aid workshop on Thursday, October 13 at 7 p.m. in the PSHS auditorium.
This workshop is geared to parents of graduating seniors and is intended to answer the many questions concerning the financial aid process. Parents of juniors are also welcome to attend to get an idea of what is forthcoming.
Speakers at the workshop will be Gina McHenry from YSU’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship along with Poland High School’s Guidance Counselors, Mr. Mike Vagas and Mrs. Liz Calderon.
Specific topics to be addressed are:
- Types of financial aid
- How the financial aid process works
- Completing the FAFSA
- Alternative funding sources for higher education
- Questions and Answers

Starting Monday, December 4, 2023, Poland Local School District will send digital notifications to the parents/guardians of students with outstanding student fee balances. Outstanding fee balances will include unpaid fees from current and previous school years.
