October 13: IEP/504 Transition Informational Meeting

Families of students in 7th-12th grade are invited to attend an informational meeting on conference night regarding transition options that are available to high school students that have an individualized education plan (IEP) or 504 plan. Our ODD representative will be here to provide a presentation and she will also have time to answer your individual questions.

*You have questions about services offered at college, options for vocational education, military careers and enlistment or do you need information about trade apprenticeships and local unions.
*You need more information about how to advocate for services after high school.
*You want to explore other educational opportunities like the MCCTC during high school.
*You need assistance with gaining and maintaining a job during high school and after graduation.

As of the 2022-2023 school year, Poland Local schools will send parents/guardians student fee and food service fee notifications digitally. These notifications will include your student's current balance, if any balance is due, and ways to pay the school district in the case that a balance is owed. Parents/Guardians will be contacted in email, phone call, or text format from Poland Local Schools.
