POLAND, Ohio – The Poland Board of Education will hold its Board Retreat on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 8 a.m. The retreat will be held at Poland Local Schools Central Office, 3030 Dobbins Road, Poland, Ohio, 44514.
During the retreat, board members will solely focus on Poland Local Schools facilities. The retreat will begin with presentations from Superintendent Mr. Craig Hockenberry and Treasurer Janet Muntean. Consultant GPD Group will present renderings of three potential new school buildings. Renderings and fit plans will be displayed.
The presentations reflect the input of community members that has been gathered over the past eight months in engagement sessions. The recommendation to the Board is a facilities plan that involves new school buildings and a potential bond.
“This process has reached its pinnacle, and we are excited to get some feedback from our board members so we can continue the facilities journey,” said Hockenberry.
