UPDATE: This event has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
POLAND, OHIO – The Poland High School Athletic Department would like to invite members of the media and the Poland Community to attend the opening of our brand new softball field located at Poland Seminary High School (3199 Dobbins Road) on WEDNESDAY, March 29 at 4:30 p.m. This will be the first time the softball program will play on the high school campus since 2007.
Festivities will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Poland Board of Education at 4:30 p.m. First pitches will be thrown by Poland Hall of Fame Softball Coach Reid Lamport and Poland Hall of Fame softball pitcher Erin Gabriel. The game between the Poland Bulldogs and Hubbard Eagles will start at 5 p.m.
The Poland All Sports Booster Club will be providing hot dogs and hamburgers for those in attendance.
