Mr. Daley's 5th Grade STEM class engineered catapults and launchers to measure which creations could launch a nickel the furthest! Utilizing the elastic energy of rubber bands and springs, the groups of creative thinkers brainstormed, drafted, tested, and finally presented their launchers in a friendly launch-off.
