Four McKinley Bulldogs selected to represent the Bulldogs in Zaner-Bloser Handwriting Contest

Four McKinley Elementary students have been selected as grade level finalists to represent the Bulldogs in the Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest! The contest invites students in K-6 to submit a sample of their handwriting. The contest attracts approximately 80,000 applicants nationally. Students participating the contest have a chance to win a $500 cash prize for themselves and $1,000 worth of Zaner-Bloser materials for their classroom.

Representing Poland McKinley Elementary this year will be:

  • Chloe Clark, Grade 1
  • Benjamin Metzinger, Grade 3
  • Emme Morgan, Grade 1
  • Emily Vivo, Grade 2

The Exceptional Art Show welcomed over 10 local schools to display the talented works of their exceptional students. Our Bulldogs were well represented in many genres, including Blake's Marker Goofy and Timmy's cardboard house! Thank you to all who supported the show tonight and gave our students the spotlight! Have a look at their creations and some artists next to them! Way to go, Bulldogs!

Poland Middle School Kindness Club teamed up with the PSHS Interact Club this week to create goodie bags to support children in need. High School students helped middle schoolers by filling bags with some small toys and positive messages! Special thank you to Dr. Padgett, DDS for donating toothbrushes and toothpaste for each bag!
