Poland educator Rick DiNunzio was recognized among the region’s top teachers at the Mahoning Valley Educators of the Year event held Tuesday at the Eastwood Event Centre in Niles. DiNunzio, selected to represent the Poland Local School District, was one of 33 educators honored for their dedication and impact on students in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties.

PANDA Club sixth graders visited their friends at McKinley to catch up and share some stories! Throughout the school year, club members have been meeting with their Kindergarten friends to hear about what they've been learning and fun things about them. These are friendships that last forever!

Two Poland Seminary High School seniors from the Class of 2025 have committed to serving the United States through distinguished college programs. Michael Daley has been appointed to the United States Naval Academy, and Oliver McCully has earned a full-tuition scholarship to Tulane University through the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (AROTC) program.
