What is Nutrition for Life?
The Nutrition for Life program was developed to help younger students explore the cafeteria and the yummy choices we have and to feel comfortable when they want to come in and participate in breakfast or lunch.
Event Details
Your child is invited to participate in the Nutrition for Life program. Kindergarten students can enjoy a complimentary lunch!
- WHEN: October 6-8, 2025 during Lunch
- WHERE: McKinley Cafeteria
- WHO: Kindergarten Students
- WHAT: Participants get to try a complimentary lunch each day featuring specials, events, prizes, and more.
Our hope is that your child enjoys the cafeteria experience and food, and that you enjoy the ease and convenience of not packing meals for your child every day. It would be our pleasure to serve your child for the next 12 years.

Congratulations to our PSHS Junior High Band & Choir on a stellar showing of creativity unleashed! We heard a lot of mixed-meter challenging repertoire from our bands and had a friend to lean on as our choir sang in unity! The sixth graders at Poland Middle School enjoyed their final book club meeting of the school year with a visit from Superintendent Tommelleo! Students who chose "Tracker" by Gary Paulsen spent some time with Dr. Tommelleo to review the themes/lessons that Paulsen introduced and how they apply to the skills of hunting! Thank you to our sixth grade teaching staff for hosting the book clubs this year with our students!
