Art Show

Join us once again at Celebrate Poland for the annual Poland Art Show sponsored by the Poland Historical Society. We aim to recognize and reward the talent present in the local community from artists of all ages. Artists do not have to reside in Poland to enter this show. The following three categories are separated by age group: 

  1. Children (5-10) 
  2. Young Adult (11-17) 
  3. Adult (18+) 

There is no theme that artists must follow, but all artwork must be family-friendly due to the nature of the display during Celebrate Poland. All artists can enter up to three artworks. Each entry costs $10. No artwork depicting nudity or violence will be accepted. Each category will be judged by local artists.

Betsy Ross Competition

Join us at Celebrate Poland for the Betsy Ross Competition sponsored by the Poland Historical Society. This year, for America 250, we are hosting an additional showing of needlework and quilting as part of the Poland Art Show. We aim to recognize and reward the talent present in the local community from artists of all ages. Artists do not have to reside in Poland to enter this show. The following categories are separated by medium: 

  1. Quilts/Quilted Hangings 
  2. Needlework 

There is no theme that entrants must follow, but all creations must be family-friendly due to the nature of the display during Celebrate Poland. All entrants can enter up to two items. Each entry costs $10. No entries depicting nudity or violence will be accepted. Each category will be judged by local sewists.

Poland Band Night - September 26, 2026, 7 p.m. @ Poland Stadium

Join us for the second annual Poland Band Night on September 26, 2026, at 7 p.m. (gates open at 6) at Poland Stadium, 3199 Dobbins Rd, Poland, OH. Enjoy performances by marching bands from Girard, Boardman, Austintown Fitch, West Middlesex, Westminster College and Poland Seminary. Tickets: $5 general admission, Free for Poland students and district employees, Poland Senior Activity Passes honored. Support the Poland Band Parents and the talented performers of all of the performing bands!

Poland Seminary High School - Notable 2026 AP Exam Results

Poland Seminary High School students delivered exceptional results on the 2026 AP Exams! In Mr. DiNunzio's US History classes, 100% of students passed the AP Exam. In Mrs. Rinehart's Literature and Composition class, 100% of students passed the AP Exam. In Mrs. Hurdley's English Language and Composition classes (64 students took this!), 87.5% students passed the AP exam! Congratulations to our students and teachers at PSHS! Let's go, dogs!
