TRANSCRIPT:
Good Afternoon Poland Families,
This is Dr. Tommelleo, reporting from our central office with a mid-summer update on what has been happening throughout our school district.
As we move through the summer, we wanted to share a brief update on the exciting progress taking place across Poland Local Schools as we prepare for another outstanding school year.
We are pleased to welcome several talented educators and staff members to our Bulldog family. Their experience, passion, and commitment to students will strengthen our schools and support student success.
Student and staff safety remains our highest priority, and this summer, we have continued investing in security upgrades, including enhanced surveillance cameras, improved door security, and perimeter safety improvements across the district.
Work continues on the auditorium renovation, which will provided an updated, new look for student performances, community events, and district celebrations. We look forward to sharing the finished project with our community.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Strategic Plan Community Survey. We received outstanding feedback from students, families, staff, and community members. The results are helping guide the next phase of our strategic planning process as we work together to shape the future of Poland Local Schools.
We appreciate the continued support of our families and community and look forward to welcoming everyone back for an exciting new school year.

Poland Seminary High School students delivered exceptional results on the 2026 AP Exams! In Mr. DiNunzio's US History classes, 100% of students passed the AP Exam. In Mrs. Rinehart's Literature and Composition class, 100% of students passed the AP Exam. In Mrs. Hurdley's English Language and Composition classes (64 students took this!), 87.5% students passed the AP exam! Congratulations to our students and teachers at PSHS! Let's go, dogs!
