Jeanette Medina started as Treasurer for Poland Local Schools in August 2025. Prior to her role as Treasurer, Jeanette served as Assistant Treasurer at both the Trumbull County Educational Service Center and the Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio (formerly Mahoning County ESC). She has over 18 years of experience in financial and accounting related fields, with a large portion of her career spent as a Portfolio Manager/Trader for a fixed-income investment management subsidiary of what is now Bank of New York, serving large institutions such as corporations, pension funds and foundations.

Jeanette earned her B.S.B.A. through the Honors Accounting program at The Ohio State University and her M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. She passed Level 1 of the CFA program.

Jeanette has lived in Poland since 2005 with her husband and son. She cherishes any time spent with her extended family and friends, loves outdoor activities especially skiing, hiking and biking and is a lifelong learner with a long reading list.
