GYMUSIC! Gym and Music collide again at McKinley Elementary. Basketball is a game of rhythm, and making baskets is making music in Poland! Watch as we learn new cadences for our dribbling and hooping!

Students in Mrs. Martin's 5th grade class practiced their fractions and percentages by slicing up pies based on what they are thankful for. These pies were so sweet, no toppings were necessary. Happy Thanksgiving!

Mr. Daley's 7th Grade Bulldogs were given CDs, skewers, popsicle sticks, and rubberbands... and with those supplies, they had to make... A CAR?!

The Ball Boys, who love getting good grades, asked Mr. Nico to grade their ball retrieving skills as the ball boys for the Girls Soccer team. Naturally, we had to make a video series out of it...

Our 5th Grade STEM class thought inside and outside of the box for their nickel launchers! Against the material constraints, the students found unique ways to send money flying! You won't believe which design launched the nickel the furthest...

You can cheer and be in band too! Sydney proves it. As the clock hits 0:00 for halftime, she sprints to the stands where her sister has set up her instrument. And once the final note is played, she sprints back to the sideline, never missing a cheer!

Watch the Bulldogs beat the Cardinals from 3 unique perspectives... Congratulations to both teams on valiant efforts in the Battle of 224. From first to forth quarter, sideline to sideline, the excellence of two school districts is clear and on display. We are grateful to share a rich tradition with the Cardinals and cannot wait to take the field and court with them again soon!

How do you like your eggs done? Hopefully not cracked! Mr. Cline's Physical Science classes gave egg cartons a makeover by designing individual helmets for eggs and dropping them from various heights! Will the eggs survive the drops?

What do you want to be when you grow up? Poland Middle School 5th graders from Poland, Ohio had a special end-of-year project to pick their desired career and present information it to our 4th grade! Poland Middle School had one strong workforce this morning!

Junior Achievement visited our 4th grade classes to inspire our young entrepreneurs with lessons in business! Watch Mr. Nico face off against Maddie, Croix, and Josh for who has the best hot dog stand!

Last night at the Board of Education Work Session, Poland Local School District Administrators honored the retiring staff members of 2023. We thank them for their commitment and dedication to the Poland Schools!
